At CORE Restoration, we know our collective success is directly linked to the success of each of our individual team members who are honest, professional, and committed to our clients and our company. The Mitigation or MIT Tech reports to the Field Team Leader who oversees both the Mitigation and Reconstruction/Repair jobs. The MIT Tech is responsible for actions to remediate sudden losses to client property due to wind/weather/water/fire/trauma or biohazard or other emergency situations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
To perform this role successfully, the MIT Tech will have experience in the restoration industry with basic working knowledge of water and other mitigation services, IICRC Certification is preferred but not required. Candidates should have a high level of productivity, efficiency, high standards and work quality. Must possess positive client interaction skills while performing job tasks at hand. The MIT Tech must have appropriate and professional communication skills both with clients and supervisors. Duties are not limited to, but include:
∙Follow the company outlined Mitigation Workflow Expectations.
∙Basic Moisture Mapping skills.
∙Complete all required reports and documents in a timely manner.
∙Have the ability to have the client sign required documents.
∙Perform demolition duties safely and efficiently.
∙Partner with other workers/temporary workers on job processes and company standards and expectations in a safe manner.
∙Have a current driver’s license, clean driving record and ability to drive company fleet vehicles to include trucks, vans, box truck/tow trailer.
∙Understand how to properly set basic mitigation equipment, repeatedly lift over 50 lbs. occasionally lift 100 lbs., stand/walk for extended periods. Ability to work in crawl space or attic spaces as may be necessary to perform work.
∙Work with tools safely while protecting and maintaining company assets including tools, equipment, and supplies.
∙Monitor jobs daily drying progress on small and mid-sized jobs. Ability to perform basic maintenance on mitigation equipment
∙Be available and answer phone for on-call and after-hours (7:30 am – 4:00 pm regular business hours) for service calls as requested and during peak seasons.
CORE Restoration is seeking a repair/reconstruction technician specializing in drywall and painting. We are willing to continue to train the right person, however some experience is required for this position. This position will report directly to the RCON/Repair Lead Technician.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
∙Perform reconstruction and repair tasks to include drywall, texture.
∙Painting and finishing work.
∙Framing, installation of doors.
∙Other related tasks as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
∙Physically able to safely stoop, bend, lift and maneuver heavy items (appliances, furniture, building materials, debris etc.)
∙Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds regularly without assistance.
∙Work well as part of a team and on occasion with minimal supervision.
∙Communicate effectively and appropriately to work with supervisor, coworkers, employer, and clients.
∙Pass background check and drug screening to employer's satisfaction.
WORK HOURS & SCHEDULE
∙Full-time position
∙40 hours per week
∙Normal business hours 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, 30-minute meal break
