With one call to CORE Restoration you’ll be on your way to recovery. We are certified experts in water, fire, wind damage and more. Disasters are inconvenient and stressful, but CORE is here to serve you 24/7, 365 days a year!
We can answer the many questions you might have about your property emergency.
Our technicians inspect the area, gather information, take lots of pictures, and determine the source and seriousness of the damage.
Once the source is stopped, we move your belongings as needed. We'll get rid of standing water, remove debris, set up containment, then deploy the drying equipment.
Periodically, we will come to check the machines we placed and do additional moisture readings. These are visits are fairly quick. The drying process is a little different for every loss, but on average it takes 3-5 days. Once your space is dry, we remove the equipment and the mitigation process is considered finished.
Please note, there is usually a wait time between mitigation and reconstruction. Estimates, insurance adjuster talks, permits, and industry-wide workloads are all a factor in how long this wait-time will be. This is not any indication of our value for you as a client. This is simply the nature of the construction industry.
For fire damage clean-up, we will work very closely with your insurance. Your home's contents are photographed and inventoried. After documentation, we will sort out what can be cleaned and dispose of any items that are a total loss. We take care of excess water (which may be its own mitigation) and remove debris and soot. We can do this with the highest standards and safety, thanks to our IICRC Fire & Smoke Restoration Technician. There is often a period of waiting before reconstruction begins, as so many details are being worked out with insurance adjusters. Our estimator will be in regular communication with you and work diligently with your insurance.
We will need to clear the work area as much as possible. We photo-document where your belongings were so we can put them back in their original places once the job is complete. We separate any items that can be salvaged via cleaning and drying from those that are severely damaged, and those unaffected. If you have insurance, we will gather pictures and information for a proper inventory. You will be encouraged to gather valuables, documents, and any items you would like to keep readily accessible. Your contents will be moved to another area of your home or business, if space allows for it; if not, we will transport them to a storage facility.
Yes! When a home is significantly damaged and many materials must be replaced, it is a great opportunity to upgrade your property. However, if your insurance company is covering loss restoration, they will only pay to return your home to its pre-damaged condition. Renovations are possible, but the difference between what your insurance company will cover and the cost of the renovations will have to be paid out of pocket.
At CORE Restoration, we view each project as an opportunity to restore your property to "better than before the damage occurred". Property damage and disasters can be stressful, but our local team of experts is here to make the restoration process as smooth and hassle free as possible. When disaster strikes in the form of fire, smoke, water, wind, sewage or even vandalism, we understand your needs and bring over 19 years of experience in restoring properties.
